Rule 20
Examination of answer sheets
(1) The examination of the answer sheet of the written examination to be taken by the Commission shall be done by an expert or expert in the relevant subject designated by the Commission in the case of the Central Office of the Commission and in the case of the regional and zonal offices of the Commission by the head of that office.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the Commission shall provide the relevant expert or expert with the guidelines for the test, the method of testing and the method of evaluation as required for the examination of answer sheets.
(3) After receiving the answer sheet according to sub-rule (1), the relevant expert or expert shall examine such answer sheet in time and provide it to the Commission confidentially.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this regulation, there shall be no hindrance to conduct double examination of the answer sheets of the examination of the posts prescribed by the Commission.
(5) According to sub-rule (4), if the Commission has decided to conduct a double examination, the first examiner must mention the score on the separate seat provided by the Commission and the second examiner must mention the score on the answer book itself.
(6) In the case of double-examined answer sheets according to sub-rule (5), the pair of marks given by both the examiners will be calculated by taking the average marks.
